What Does Alignment Look Like?


We talk about an aligned leadership team as displaying three key elements of an ongoing process:

  • Teamwork: Build a leadership team that trusts one another and holds each other accountable to team commitments and agreed to behaviors
  • Strategy: Create a playbook that clarifies the company’s strategy and results in a document that can be dynamic over time
  • Execution: Bring the leadership team together on a regular basis to execute the playbook and drive continuous improvement
